The Role

As our Cash Manager, you will play a key role in safeguarding Corbion’s global liquidity and financial risk position. Reporting to the Director Treasury, you ensure that all entities have sufficient funds to operate and meet obligations, while optimizing working capital and maintaining a robust banking infrastructure.

You will manage daily cash flow operations, FX and liquidity movements, financial risk controls, and the continuous improvement of short-term cash flow forecasting. You also oversee treasury systems and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless and compliant treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities

Cash & Risk Management

  • Manage daily liquidity, FX, and interest positions in line with treasury policy.

  • Execute funding, FX, and interest rate swap transactions within approved limits.

  • Oversee and improve short-term cash flow forecasting accuracy.

  • Control financial risks including FC exposure, interest rate risk, and counterparty risk.

Banking Infrastructure & Payments

  • Implement and manage an efficient global bank account and cash-pooling structure.

  • Manage the Global Payment Hub and support local finance teams on country-specific payment requirements.

  • Monitor bank fees, pricing, and interest conditions to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare comprehensive treasury reports: liquidity positions, risk exposure, closed transactions, working capital, quarterly consolidated management reports, and entity finance positions.

  • Establish and maintain treasury procedures, controls, and compliance standards.

Corporate Finance & Treasury Optimization

  • Support internal financing and equity transactions.

  • Manage credit facilities, including the Revolving Credit Facility.

  • Lead working capital improvement initiatives globally.

  • Drive continuous improvement of treasury tools, systems, and technology.

  • Support the Treasury Director in FX, interest rate management, and future corporate finance projects.


Your Profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an international treasury environment.

  • Treasury training such as ACT Cash Management is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of currency and money markets, and understanding of FX and interest rate derivatives.

  • Affinity with automated, data-driven processes.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with treasury systems is a plus.

  • Willingness to develop further through training and on-the-job learning.
