SAP Master Data Business Process Consultant

As our SAP Master Data Business Process Consultant, you will be accountable for the delivery and support of IT solutions for Master Data Management within the organization. You will be joining projects that are part of the program that is designing and implementing the future processes and tooling in the area of Master Data Management, mainly focused on SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

Responsibilities
 

• Assess, change and refine requirements for master data governance and related information systems to continuously increase their effectiveness and ensure they are properly aligned with the company’s strategic direction, the master data strategy and the other relevant business functions.
• Work proactively with business stakeholders, other Business Process consultants and MDG developers to ensure accurate delivery of new or changed applications in the SAP MDG landscape, according to guidelines and best practices.
• Act as a subject matter expert within the IT organization for related master data governance activities (SAP MDG, Boomi Flow, etc).
• Responsible for continuous alignment with the core ERP systems, the enterprise data warehouse and other reporting departments or applications with regards to master data.
• Deploy the newly developed SAP MDG functionality, including supporting integration & user acceptance testing and providing training to (key) users.
• Support Master Data stewards in correct usage of the MDG application and troubleshooting/resolving of issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in field of IT or Technology
•  4+ years of relevant project experience in master data expert role
• Experience with implementations of SAP MDG is a must
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, LSMW, LTMC or SAP BODS is appreciated
• Good understanding of SAP S/4 processes and the role of master data within those processes
• Experience with large (master) data implementations and migrations
• Able to act flexibly in dynamic, changing environment
• Strong in building global multi-disciplinary & cultural teams and business relationships
• Overall knowledge of SAP solution Manager
• Overall knowledge of Agile project methodology
• Intermediate to advanced English language proficiency
