Sr. Accounting Analyst

As our next Sr. Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for the daily execution of accounting operations, including the analysis and recording of accounting entries, payroll closing, reconciliations, tax calculations, depreciations, amortizations, and provisions, as well as determining the company’s financial results and corporate income tax. In addition, you will monitor accounting and tax legislation to ensure full compliance with both primary and ancillary obligations, addressing requirements from government authorities, regulatory bodies, and internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• IFRS and CPC´s: review international IFRS standards and Brazilian CPCs, ensuring that accounting records comply with applicable rules, principles, and accounting concepts.
• Fixed Assets Management: record and control all fixed assets (including significant investments in Orindiúva), ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial statements.
• Payroll Closing: review and integrate payroll, calculate and post provisions, and reconcile payroll with supporting reports.
• Cash Flow Preparation: Develop the company’s cash flow, supporting financial planning and liquidity management .
• External Audit Support: Handle external audits, demonstrate reliability and technical expertise in compliance processes
• LALUR Preparation: Preparation of the Livro de Apuração do Lucro Real (LALUR) for calculating corporate income tax and social contribution, a highly complex and strategically relevant activity.
• Preparation of ancillary obligations, such as SPED accounting records, ECF, corporate income tax, IBGE, and BACEN.
• Control lease accounting under IFRS 16, ensuring accurate recognition of right‑of‑use assets and lease liabilities.
• Prepares adjustments, disclosures, and reconciliations to maintain compliance with international reporting standards.
• Control and establish cut‑off provisions, ensuring accurate recognition of expenses and liabilities within the correct accounting period.
• Monthly Results Reporting: Prepare monthly performance reports, ensuring transparency and consistency in the company’s performance analysis

Skills/ Knowledge and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Solid experience in general and statutory accounting, strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS), payroll closing, fixed assets, income tax calculation, result reporting, and external audit support.
• Strong expertise in ERP systems, with advanced user knowledge of SAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel to develop reconciliation controls and perform calculations relevant to accounting activities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across functions and management levels.
