Job Category:  Supply Chain
Work Location:  Hybrid
Office Location:

Gorinchem, NL

Job Type:  Full Time
Job ID:  4866

At Corbion, we exist to champion preservation in all its forms, preserving food and food production, health, and our planet.

Within Corbion, supply planning is the cornerstone of the end-to-end supply chain planning process. While there are specialized planners working in each functional area across the supply chain – including demand planners, supply schedulers, material planners – it’s the responsibility of the Global Supply Chain Planner to bring all these plans together and ensure that the company’s products will be available to meet the demand from the market. You dynamically set target stock levels to meet future demand whereas the local supply chain teams (scheduling and material planning) manage the short horizon by predicting the effects of changes in production, interruptions, machine breakdowns, scraps and other factors.

You will be joining a lively diverse team that sets the general direction of production for our sites in Netherlands, Spain, Brazil, Thailand, and USA. Plus, if you're eager to learn and grow, the opportunities within Corbion are endless. Your future colleagues can’t wait to meet you!

You will be reporting to the Global Supply Planning Director.

What you will be accountable for:

  • Create the mid to long term production plan (2-24 months horizon) to deliver a Supply Network Plan that ensures product availability across the global network considering optimization of capacity and manufacturing costs.
  • Investigate and provide Root Cause Analysis and Mitigation Plans through engagement with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure the Supply Network Plan is in line with approved stock targets and drive inventory performance and working capital optimization to reduce overall Supply Chain cost.
  • Focus on completeness and correctness of Master Data to drive accuracy through planning systems (OMP, SAP).

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field. APICS certification is a plus.
  • Experience in production planning within a large, complex multi-site organization and working with advanced supply chain planning software and tools (e.g. OMP, SAP).
  • Knowledge of planning and inventory management principles such as IBP, Rough-Cut capacity planning, MPS and MRP.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and KPI’s.
  • Ability to develop effective collaborations across different levels of the organization.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch is a desirable.

What we offer

  • Workweek of 40 hours, competitive salary & benefits package, competitive pension scheme, holiday allowance of 8%, end year allowance 3%, bonus scheme, flexible working hours and the ability to work from home for 2-3 days per week.
  • Unique company culture of Dutch/US heritage and international presence.
  • A very dynamic, high impact working environment with unique personal development potential.
  • Great team of professional, global presence, innovative and highly engaged people.
  • Excellent career opportunities.
  • A company that takes sustainability very serious and champions preservation in all its forms, finding new ways of operating in a changing environment (see our Sustainability Brochure and in our SDG Impact Assessment 'Measuring What Matters').

If you have excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data and make informed decisions, are strong in building relationships, enjoy solving problems in a proactive manner to manage the dynamic nature of our supply chain then you are the one we are looking for!
