Junior Financial Analyst

The Role
As a Junior Financial Analyst at Corbion, you’ll be a vital member of our international finance team, supporting both the business control group and other departments. This is a hands-on, dynamic position based in Gorinchem, where you’ll take ownership of daily and standard financial reporting, help develop new KPI scorecards, and play a key role in data transformation initiatives. You’ll work closely with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, gaining exposure to a global business and the opportunity to make a real impact from day one. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of daily sales and flash reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including visualizations and dashboards.
• Support the development and implementation of new KPI scorecards and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with business controllers and other teams to streamline and improve reporting processes.
• Assist with data uploads and projects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within financial workflows.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, supporting both general and business unit-specific tasks (approx. 70% general, 30% specific).
• Work independently on assigned projects, with mentorship and support from senior team members.

You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a corporate or international environment (experience in a global company is a plus).
• Strong technical skills: advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas), experience with Power BI (required), Fabric (nice to have), and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools; hands-on approach to data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch not required); able to work effectively with colleagues from different backgrounds.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, but also able to work independently and take responsibility for deliverables.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines under pressure.
• Creative, proactive, and eager to contribute ideas for improvement.
