This is a senior, high-impact leadership role, reporting directly to the Head of EMEA, with responsibility for driving growth, strengthening market leadership, and translating strategy into commercial success across a diverse and dynamic region.
Your Impact
As Preservation & Nutrition Sales Director, you will define and execute Corbion’s commercial strategy in EMEA, with a focus on Preservation, while also supporting the tactical execution for Human Nutrition and Pharma.
You will operate at both strategic and hands-on level: setting direction, empowering teams, engaging with key customers, and ensuring Corbion continues to win in attractive and evolving market segments such as meat, poultry, seafood, meat alternatives, bakery, and culinary applications.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute a clear, compelling commercial strategy for the Preservation market in EMEA, aligned with Corbion’s long‑term growth ambitions.

Support the tactical plan for Human Nutrition and Pharma, ensuring alignment and focus across the broader portfolio.
Commercial Ownership

Own and deliver the sales budget for Preservation, with clear accountability for net sales growth and value creation.

Contribute to achieving budget targets in Human Nutrition and Pharma.
Pipeline & Portfolio Growth

Drive a robust commercial pipeline, ensuring strong project flow and disciplined execution across the region.

Optimize portfolio mix, pricing strategies, and logistics models to strengthen competitiveness and profitability.
Team & Market Leadership

Lead and develop a multinational team of sales leaders, creating clarity, focus, and high performance.

Empower local sales teams and offices to succeed with customers, prospects, and distributors.

Foster collaboration in a matrix organization, connecting expertise across functions and regions.
Distribution & Channel Strategy

Partner closely with the Distribution team to design and execute an effective EMEA distribution strategy for Preservation.
Customer & Market Engagement

Build strong, trust‑based relationships with key strategic accounts.

Identify new market opportunities, emerging segments, and innovative value propositions.

Monitor competitor activity and translate insights into winning commercial actions.
External Representation

Act as a senior ambassador for Corbion at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, strengthening our visibility and reputation as a market leader.
What You Bring
Experience & Education
-
Degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, or a comparable scientific discipline.

15+ years of international B2B commercial leadership experience in food ingredients or related industries.

Deep experience and strong affinity with the food preservation market.

Proven track record in driving growth through customer‑centric, sustainability‑driven value propositions.
