SAP BTP Integration Specialist (In-house)

We are seeking an SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Specialist with a strong focus on integrations with our SAP S/4HANA RISE system. As a key member of our SAP practice, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our clients’ digital transformation journey. Your expertise in SAP BTP will drive successful implementations, enhance business processes, and deliver value to our clients. In this role, you will analyze business requirements and design and implement SAP BTP solutions, with a particular emphasis on integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective SAP BTP solutions within the RISE framework.
• BTP Roadmap: Help develop and maintain the BTP roadmap, aligning technical strategy with business objectives.
• Technical Expertise: Architect SAP side-by-side extensions (extensibility suite) on BTP, enabling clean-core methodology during S/4HANA transformation journeys. Maintain a strong architectural understanding of SAP BTP services, including data management, analytics, and process automation.
• Integration Focus: Lead the integration of SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA and other systems, ensuring seamless end-to-end processes and data flow. Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI, API Management) experience is especially important.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, SAP Solution Architects, and other internal teams to execute SAP BTP strategies.
• Operational Excellence: Build strong relationships with clients, provide expert guidance, and ensure successful project outcomes. Oversee run activities related to the BTP Platform and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Project Delivery: Lead or participate in full project lifecycles, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.

You bring

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP systems in a fast-moving, enterprise application environment. Candidates with a strong integration background (especially SAP Integration Suite/CPI, API Management) are encouraged to apply, even if not yet full BTP experts.
• Experience implementing solutions on SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
• Understanding of SAP architecture (cloud, on-premises) and clean core methodology
• Ability to design new architectural frameworks and influence their execution
• Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and functionality
• Preferably hands-on experience with SAP CAP, Node.js, Java/SAP UI5/Fiori Elements, SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management), SAP HANA Cloud, CDS Views, HDI containers
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines and practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain digital technologies to non-IT audiences
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Capable of working independently and collaborating effectively in a team
• Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor and influence others

 
Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certifications in BTP Extension Suite, Integration Suite, or S/4HANA
• Familiarity with SAP Build Apps, Process Automation, and SAP Business Application Studio
• Experience with event-driven architecture and SAP Event Mesh
• Exposure to agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab, etc.
