To deliver on our strategy, a solid understanding of the environmental impact of our products and innovations through Life Cycle Assessment is essential. We are looking for a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Specialist to expand our team.




As our LCA Specialist you conduct LCA studies for Corbion manufacturing sites and provide support to the different businesses units and functions on sustainability.


  • Cradle to gate and cradle to grave LCA studies for specific projects
  • Scale-up the LCA calculations to cover our product portfolio and integration of the calculations with the  Corbion data systems to collect data and generate results efficiently
  •  Sustainability assessment of innovation projects. Support project teams on the sustainability assessment in the stage gate process, advise on mitigation actions and perform social and life cycle assessments
  • Support customer requests related to LCA


About you


In addition to a passion for sustainability and strong analytical skills, a  successful candidate for the position of LCA Specialist will have the following qualifications:


  • University degree in Environmental science, Sustainable development, Chemical engineering, Energy science, Food technology or similar
  • 1-3 years' experience with LCA studies and relevant standards (ISO, PEF)
  • Experience with LCA, data analysis and visualization software, preferably Simapro for LCA
  • Knowledge of LCA of biobased products or agricultural production systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Accurate, attention for details and reliable
  • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluent in English
