The Team Lead Customer service is responsible for leading / coordinating a team of 5-8 FTE in their day to day activities to ensure product supply to the end customer (B2B) or distributor under the applicable laws and regulations of the country of origin and of destination. The team is based in the Netherlands and you will report to the Customer Service Manager EMEA.

 

Responsibilities

 

The Team Lead Customer Service is responsible for the following activities:

 

  • Works with the team in monitoring, processing and handling of orders at the location department.
  • Ensuring optimal customer satisfaction and loyalty by among others coordinating with other departments the peaks/bottlenecks. Being the extension of EMEA sales force by special support with key accounts and own list of accounts assigned.
  • Interfaces with Sales, Demand and Supply Planning, Local & Global Logistics, QA and QC, Regulatory, Finance.
  • Orders managed: customer orders of assigned group of customers. (CGM +/- 9.000 OL/Y // CMO around 6,000 OL/Y)
  • Commerce knowledge, country regulations& customs knowledge, input during Sales negotiations, own negotiations with assigned customers.
  • Discuss with production planning, expedition, quality department everything around changes in orders and of possible solutions/alternatives, coordination of peaks, bottleneck of the department. Safeguard of client specific stock levels, by sending samples, selected batches etc.
  • Coordinates the work, defines the priorities of day to day business, Informs team of internal updates, monitors incidents and discusses these reports during weekly meetings. Monitoring that all orders in a month are correct and complete, invoice of open orders within the month.
  • Undertake internal or external actions needed to comply with the contractual obligations, ensures placed orders and closed contracts, signals deviations, determine cause of deviation, discuss with CSIS Manager/Sales/client/customer about the way the obligations can be met.
  • Be the key user of CRM/LX/SAP/BI, Discuss information need with automation MS-CRM; SAP, BI, Signal and provide solutions of problems in system use, self-assess and solve issues.
  • Contribute to projects and discussions as needed in coordination with CSIS Manager, Executing assigned project tasks, Be a project leader, Provide relevant information, signal obstacles, state solutions for problems

  • Participate in the back up structure of CS & Sales Support EMEA including back-up of CS&IS Manager

 

About You

 

We are looking for a customer oriented people manager with the follwoing qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Commerce or equivalent knowledge gained through experience
  • Relevant experience in a leadership role within Customer Service in a B2B environment.
  • Strong internal and external customer orientation, high flexibility, professional versatility and efficiency.
  • Fluency in English. Other languages such as Dutch are desirable.
  • Advanced user of computer software (MS Office + order management applications BPCS, SAP, etc),
  • Leader by example.
  • Skilled in improving teams by providing feedback
  • Good communication skills and intercultural sensitivity.
  • Excellent team-player skills, and able to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Flexible & stress resistant.
