Corbion is looking for an Intern who is currently or recently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest in graphic design and has a passion for the food industry.

The graphic design intern will spend their summer as an integrated part of the North American Marketing Communications team and will provide support for 2-3 individual projects. These projects will be creative, strategic and tactical in nature, and will provide experience in designing and branding marketing content that contributes to the broader strategic imperatives. This internship aims to provide the intern with a learning experience, while allowing the intern to add their unique perspective to help the business teams achieve their strategic goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Concept and design visual branding pieces to support Corbion’s strategic initiatives
• Support Corbion campaign launches through the development of content pieces including sell sheets, infographics and video graphics
• Lead and execute the development of marketing templates for team members to utilize in future campaigns and projects
• Ensure alignment with marketing objectives on all projects and keep brand consistency across all media
• Collaborate with other individuals from the Global Marketing and SFS functions to execute projects and tasks
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by department teammates

Skills, Qualifications, and Education Requirements:

• Must be current Bachelors or Masters candidate with a major / concentration in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Digital Marketing, Marketing, or Agriculture Communications
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Provide a brief portfolio of previous work examples (PDF or link to online portfolio)
• Leadership/self-starting capabilities with strong strategic thinking skills
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, proactive approach to project management
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Analyze, organize, and problem solve frequently and efficiently
• Desire to learn more about marketing communications and B2B marketing environments
• Comfortable with video conferencing as a means to collaborate
