Position Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Milling Intern to join our team at Corbion for the summer of 2025. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the milling industry, actively contributing to daily operations. You’ll collaborate closely with industry leaders, gaining valuable insights while working alongside our team and customers to support key business activities. This role provides a strong foundation for anyone eager to develop practical skills and grow in a dynamic environment.
This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in a dusty environment. The intern will report daily to our Grandview, MO location, with occasional opportunities to accompany our Sales and Service team on routine service calls and assist with equipment installations. Responsibilities also include helping rebuild equipment and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. There will also be an opportunity to travel for an industry conference event.
The position is based in a warehouse environment, working 40 hours per week, with approximately 33% travel involved.
Summer 2025: May 27th – August 8th
The Milling Division of Corbion is the largest supplier of micro-ingredients to the wheat flour milling industry in North America. The ingredients we supply include enrichment premixes, bleach products, diastatic supplements, and flour oxidation products. There is an equipment component to our business, as in many cases our customers use equipment supplied by Corbion to meter the ingredients into their flour stream and we maintain that equipment. The equipment consists primarily of volumetric feeders and chlorine gas machinery.
