Product Management Specialist

Corbion is seeking a strong, growth oriented Product Specialist to manage the product life cycle in support of organizational strategy and objectives, working with internal cross-functional partners to ensure products are available & sustainably profitable short and long-term.  This role reports to the Sr Product Manager and is based in Lenexa, Kansas.

Requirements:

• Support the development and execution of medium and long term product strategy
• Set-up new products and manage the introduction phase AOX portfolio
• Manage the life-cycle of the products by managing product changes and documentation (PDS, SDS, Labels), end of life rationalization
• Actively engage in product development and project management (type 1 innovation, CAPEX, business improvement)
• Consistently communicate with internal partners including commercial teams, operations teams and other internal stakeholders
• Manage discrepancies in supply and demand with sales, marketing and supply chain
• Support documentation requirements needed for AOX portfolio
• Pro-actively support customers regarding product related concerns
• Own the product details and specifications, operate as internal product expert
• Partner with operations to manage customer complaints and supply issues
• Ensure global regulatory registrations and compliance
• Manage crises including supply shortage, product failure or regulatory changes
• Align with marketing and insights to monitor competitive activities within Preservation portfolio
• Coordinate with research and quality regarding customer requests, audits, registrations and other market/product needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Food, Biology, Chemistry, or Biotech preferred
• 2+ years of work experience in multiple roles (technical sales, procurement, pricing, R&D)
• Mastery of both quantitative and qualitative data analysis
• Exceptional communication skills to lead cross functional teams and manage key internal stakeholders
• Proven success navigating the complexity of a matrix organization
• Hands-on, a self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and a team player
