Leverage your industry knowledge and superior client relationship skills along with Corbion’s market leading product portfolio to develop opportunities with key accounts. Focus on business development with new customers and channels to benefit from the Corbion portfolio of solutions. Corbion's Sr. Account Managers lead and leverage development through consistent interaction, resource fulfillment, project collaboration, and creative innovation.  Ideal candidate is based on the West Coast, in particular in the Northwest.



  • Manage the business relationship of existing major national account customers. Become a critical supplier for new products and innovate to uncover new uses for current products.
  • Partner with R&D, marketing and the sales team to identify and deliver product ideas and collaborate on trends, products, concepts, and product uses.
  • Conduct business reviews with accounts and develop opportunities to penetrate account.
  • Grow business beyond current accounts, including researching region and market, cold calling, etc. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Design, develop, and implement improvements to the sales process.
  • Seek a broader understanding of business and competitive issues.  Become the expert for internal and external partners.
  • Apply “out-of-the-box” thinking to projects and challenges; innovate and maintain a “big picture” attitude.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.



  • BA/BS degree in food science or related degree preferred.
  • Success selling to and managing national/key/global accounts.
  • Strong account management and technical aptitude; relevant industry experience.
  • Proven success throughout sales cycle including call calling, researching and identifying opportunities, creating and providing compelling presentations, negotiating and follow-through.
  • Ability to analyze and integrate data; business acumen.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, creativity, and adaptability to changing situations.
  • Ability to understand the customer’s needs and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Experience partnering with various levels within organizations and departments, both internally and with customers.
