Senior Account Manager

Corbion’s Biochemicals business is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Account Manager to join our team. As our next Senior Account Manager, you will develop relationships with customers and prospective customers within the chemical industry to achieve short-term and long-term growth targets in line with the company strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with sales and margin targets
- Identify current customers' needs, develop new customers and opportunities, and offer appropriate solutions
- Negotiate and secure contracts
- Ensure accurate forecasting of customer demand
- Gather and report on competitive activities
- Ensure resolution of complaints and past due payments when needed
- Partner with cross functional colleagues to achieve high service levels and deliver solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or technically relevant field. MBA preferred but not required.
- 8+ years of demonstrated success growing B2B raw material sales in the chemical industry
- Experience connecting with key decision makers in existing and prospective accounts
- Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Outlook, Concur & SAP preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Driven, proactive, and able to learn quickly
- Creativity, and adaptability to changing situations
- Ability to travel an average of 50%
