Corbion is seeking a Sr. Technical Service Representative with strong wholesale bakery manufacturing experience, in both breads & cakes.   In this role, you will travel 75% of the time to key accounts and aid customers in solving bakery operational problems and formulations. The qualified candidate will have previous bakery operations management experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide business insights to current customers and identify and develop new opportunities
  • Execute customer account plans
  • Collaborate with client’s management team
  • Communicate effectively with Corbion’s key account team
  • Assist Corbion's RDA with testing and development of new technologies
  • Serve on internal customer teams to collaborate regarding risks and opportunities
  • Develop sales through testing and demonstrating Corbion products
  • Review procedures and processes in client facilities providing technical solutions to existing problems
  • Participate in plant start-ups that often require two weeks of continuous travel
  • Other duties as required
         

Qualifications

  • AIB Graduate and/or 10+ years’ experience in baking preferred
  • Extensive large wholesale baking background with management experience in operations
  • Excellent understanding of ingredient functionality, formulation, fully automated baking processes, and operation of the equipment
  • Solid understanding of formulation and how to build a formula from scratch
  • Ability to start a project from conception, product development, R&D testing in our labs, and then implement through plant trials
  • Successful collaboration with multiple internal teams and customers
  • Excellent process problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience developing and delivering seminars and training programs both internally and to customers
  • Must be self-motivated with excellent written, electronic, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel extensively, both domestically 75% and internationally occasionally
  • Must be competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

 

Our offer

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $135,000. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type years of and experience within the industry, education, etc. Please note, Corbion is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
