Corbion is searching for a Strategic Market Lead, Meat to work in a matrix environment with product managers, Insights, Marcom, R&D, Regional Business development Managers, applications and sales.   Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Strategic Market Lead, Meat will be responsible for developing the go-to-market strategy for their identified segment globally and within their region based upon overall growth objectives as outlined by each product manager. 

 

This position is responsible for developing and driving segment specific market strategy that incorporates technology, commercial objectives and market insights for their segment.   This is an exciting opportunity to apply your marketing and business/financial acumen and join a growing global B2B corporation focused on innovation, sustainability and success.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead, manage, facilitate and influence the planning and coordination of strategic market context and Go-to-market planning portions of the overall product strategies into key target industries
  • Lead the outside ---> in market due diligence portion of the market strategy,  collaborating with PM to link to business strategy, and lead the go-to-market planning efforts for in-market execution
  • Collaborate with key cross functional internal partners for delivery of market due diligence overview to frame 3-year strategic business plans
  • Lead launch/Go-to-market planning & execution.  Initiate and lead sustainable planning forums to execute, monitor progress and evaluate go-to-market success, conduct post-mortem review on all launches/commercialization’s
  • Facilitate information/knowledge sharing and transfer, including monthly/quarterly reporting and planning forums with the management team and key stakeholders
  • Develop strong partnership with global and regional marketing insights and marcom teams
  • Contribute market dynamic intel to marcom manager to drive market-based promotional plans on an annualized basis to deliver top line revenue growth
  • Partner with market research and regional insights, product R&D  and application teams, business development managers to develop and execute sustainable training and work sessions to effectively transform Corbion capabilities into customized value propositions  (market research to lead actual meetings/initiate)
  • Identify potential new products and applications to grow the business, analyze our portfolio for gaps and the market environment to maximize contribution and market share of our products

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, scientific/technically relevant degree, or related field. Master's preferred but not required, dependent upon experience
  • 5+ years of marketing experience with a proven record of strategic thinking in the food or biochemical application industries.   
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives and changing priorities/needs
  • Exceptional financial acumen with experience delivering the ROI on the annual marketing plan and budget
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
