Supply Chain Intern

We are seeking a hard working Supply Chain Intern in the Lenexa, KS office, who is able to function well in a fast-paced team environment, lead and coordinate across multiple functions including Operations, Commercial, Customer Service, Finance and Procurement. The ideal candidate must have a background in business, math or science, must possess the ability to multitask and work as a team.
As our Supply Chain intern, you will be responsible for weekly inventory reporting, and monthly scrap reporting. You will also be heavily involved in Master data analysis and cleanup.
Responsibilities:
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Reports out on inventory health, highlights potential short term and long term inventory concerns.
· Report out on monthly scrap and subsequent follow-up.
· Master data analysis and maintenance.
· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities at the same time with the ability to prioritize to achieve company objectives.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· In college, degree in supply chain, business, science or math preferred.
· Advanced Excel and Access (or other data base tool) skills, required. Proficient using Microsoft Suite, LX.
· Exceptional analytical, organizational and time management skills, required.
· Must be an effective problem solver and deliver results.
· Excellent communication skills and be able to network effectively both internally and externally.
· Proven ability to function well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
· Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
