As our Reliability engineer, your main responsibility is to identify and manage risks that can affect asset reliability and business operations.
Responsibilities
* Improvement of equipment-reliability with a focus on systems improvement, operational enhancement and cost reduction.
* Implementing specific programs and develop consistent workflows for execution within a given maintenance organization.
* Advisor for the project department about design, material choice, lay-out and equipment selection.
* Assist the maintenance department on maintenance processes related questions.
* Maintain/develop internal and external regulation standards.
Result areas
1.- Development of maintenance concepts for new and existing equipment:
* Creation of up to data master equipment list and asset hierarchy
* Facilitation of criticality rankings
* Creation Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
* Performing, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
* Development of accurate maintenance concepts
* Load balancing of preventive and predictive maintenance programs
* Implementation of (new) maintenance program
Initiator/leading in improvement initiatives:
* Perform failure analyses
* Perform cost analyses
* Analysing results from preventive and predictive inspections, manage Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) alarms and track Asset Health.
* Implementing and Supervising Precision Maintenance tasks.
* Initiating/facilitating Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA)
* Introduction of new maintenance techniques (preventive, predictive and precision) and maintenance management techniques.
*Technical support to mechanical and electrical workshops, including the development of standards and task instructions.
* Makes proposals and lead modifications following Management Of Changes process.
Trouble shooter for appearing complex problems, reoccurrences and high cost failures on the site.
Assists and advises project teams regarding:
* Material choice issues, maintanability of the installations, Equipment design/specifications & Legal regulations
Keeps equipment and installations compliances with the current internal and external regulations.
Participates and supports the global maintenance team to achieve best practices on maintenance.
Participates on continuous improvement teams and events.
Ensure safety, health, quality and environmental rules, procedures and instructions compliance that affects your own job and department.
Profile
* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering bachelor’s degree.
* Intermediate English and MS-Windows user.
* At least three years’ experience as maintenance engineer in a Chemical or Pharma industry.
* Maintenance experience including electrical, mechanical and general services (Gas & Steam, Air compressed, HVAC) as well as knowledge of CMMS (preferably SAP-PM) would be desirable.
* Experience in the implementation of maintenance programs (preventive, predictive, precision), RCM2 principles knowledge and continuous improvement experience as an advantage
* Cost effective attitude.
* Strong safety, environmental and quality attitude.
