Regional Performance Excellence Leader

As the Regional PE Leader, you will be accountable for realizing sustainable performance improvement by deploying TRACC-based transformation methodology (DRIVE – Do it Right, Improve Value Everyday), embedding operator-centric practices, and building a strong culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement across the SC functions in the region.
This role blends strategic regional leadership with hands-on coaching and change management. You will work closely with site leadership teams and frontline operators and technicians to translate Corbion’s values into visible, sustainable performance improvements. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing PE standards and sharing best practices.
You will serve as the heartbeat of Corbion’s Performance Excellence community in your region—connecting sites, strengthening PE capabilities, energizing operators and line managers, and ensuring that continuous improvement becomes an integral part of how work is done every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Deployment:
- Lead the deployment of Corbion’s Regional Performance Excellence strategy and operating system (DRIVE) across the Supply Chain functions in the region, ensuring alignment with global standards and business priorities. Oversight of regional CI roadmap, priorities, and resources
- Performance Improvement:
- Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability performance through structured CI methodologies (e.g. TRACC, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Governance & Standards:
- Develop and ensure consistent application of PE tools, standards, and ways of working across all sites in the region, including performance management routines and visual management.
- Capability Building & Culture:
- Build Continuous Improvement capability at all organizational levels through training, coaching, and leadership development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support and coach teams on structured problem-solving, ensuring effective root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable corrective actions for chronic issues.
- Promote operator-led problem-solving, recognition, and storytelling that celebrate CI wins.
- Project & Portfolio Management:
- Lead and prioritize the regional PE project portfolio, ensuring projects deliver measurable business impact and are aligned with strategic objectives. Support the SC organization with realizing the Cost to Value (C2V) targets.
- Change Management & Engagement:
- Act as a change agent, supporting leadership teams in driving engagement, adoption, and sustainability of PE initiatives across the region.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, and Finance to embed PE into daily operations and support key transformation initiatives.
Key Skills / knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in operations/business management, food/life science, engineering or related field.
- 8–12+ years’ experience in Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Project Management roles.
- Lean/Six Sigma expertise, Green Belt or Black Belt required.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable, sustainable business improvements in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong coaching, facilitation, and project management skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
