Our Rayong manufacturing site plays a critical role in delivering safe, reliable, and efficient production operations. We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team and help drive operational excellence through safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance execution.

 

The Opportunity

As Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of mechanical technicians and contractors to ensure the safe and effective execution of both planned and unplanned maintenance activities. Reporting to the Shift Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, supporting plant operations, and ensuring maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will supervise a team of four Mechanical Maintenance Technicians and work closely with Operations, Reliability, Engineering, and external service providers to support the performance of a complex chemical manufacturing facility.

 

Key Responsibilities

Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all maintenance activities are executed in full compliance with Corbion's EHS standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Promote safe work practices and actively participate in site safety initiatives and improvement programs.

  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, including ISO standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Contribute to risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation.

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

  • Plan and coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and contractor resources to support effective maintenance execution.

  • Ensure scheduled maintenance activities are completed according to plan and prioritize resources to address operational requirements.

  • Support contractor selection and supervision to ensure quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Raise and coordinate purchase requisitions for mechanical spare parts, services, and maintenance materials to ensure timely availability.

Maintenance Execution & Equipment Reliability

  • Lead maintenance technicians and contractors in the execution of preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.

  • Coordinate maintenance work related to equipment installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, shutdowns, turnarounds, and plant outages.

  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.

  • Provide mechanical expertise and support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the Reliability team by providing technical data, maintenance feedback, and equipment performance information.

CMMS / SAP & Reporting

  • Ensure maintenance activities are accurately documented in SAP/CMMS systems.

  • Review and validate work requests, work orders, and maintenance records to maintain data accuracy and integrity.

  • Monitor maintenance KPIs and prepare timely maintenance and shift reports.

  • Support planning and scheduling processes through accurate work order management and resource allocation.

Project & Continuous Improvement Support

  • Provide mechanical technical input and support for capital projects and plant improvement initiatives.

  • Contribute to equipment upgrades, reliability improvements, and maintenance optimization programs.

  • Support the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.

Documentation & Audit Readiness

  • Maintain equipment certification records and ensure documentation remains current and audit-ready.

  • Develop, review, and update maintenance procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.

  • Support internal and external audits related to maintenance, quality, and safety systems.

 

What You'll Bring

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, energy, or related industrial environment.

  • Experience leading maintenance teams, contractors, or shift-based maintenance activities.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices, equipment troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance programs.

  • Experience using CMMS platforms and SAP maintenance modules.

  • Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance, root cause analysis, or predictive maintenance techniques is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and related management systems.

  • Strong leadership, communication, planning, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic 24/7 manufacturing environment.
