QC Lab Analyst - Chemical Manufacturing

At Corbion, we are on the lookout for a dedicated Lab Analyst to join our state-of-the-art lactic acid plant in Rayong. In this vital role, you will leverage your chemical laboratory analytical expertise to support our production and play a key role in our operation process, particularly in quality control. 

Reporting directly to the QC Lab Manager, you will ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of our analytical results, contributing significantly to Corbion's position as a global leader in lactic acid technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Laboratory Analysis: Perform daily analytical tasks, report results with accuracy and timeliness, and carry out basic preventive and corrective maintenance on lab equipment.

• Collaboration: Work closely with operational and supply chain teams to communicate test results, manage non-conformities, and ensure the smooth release of raw materials and finished products.

• Quality and Safety: Uphold Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards to maintain our commitment to quality control and safety in all laboratory activities.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in an analytical lab within the Chemical, Food, or Biochemical Industry (***fresh graduates with strong analytical chemistry knowledge are encouraged to apply***).

• Proficiency in using analytical instruments like Auto titrator, ICP, IC, HPLC, and GC.

• Clear and effective communication in English, both written and spoken.

• Willingness to work in shifts, as our plant operates 24/7.

• Solid skills in MS Office applications and familiarity with basic statistics and LIMS are beneficial.

• Experience with quality systems such as ISO9001, GMP, FSSC22000 is preferred.

• Competencies in teamwork, problem-solving, and a strong drive for results.
