CW - CUBE - Warehouse Receptionist

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Receptionist is based at the Totowa, NJ Distribution Center and reports directly to the DC Manager. This position handles all visitors-facing duties in the lobby, including the administration of PPE. The Receptionist has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), Safety, and Environmental regulations as well as company policies.
• Maintain positive attitude. Focus on the customer, teamwork, and quality productivity.  
• Give recommendations to work safe, efficient, and better serve the customer.
• Greets visitors and connects them to the appropriate party.
• Answers phone and connects calls appropriately.
• Assists the Warehouse staff with daily tasks such as Entering BOL'S into OPTIX, Entering LTL pro stickers into the system, preparing the paperwork for the next day's shipments, ordering office supplies, lunches, & other requests
• Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three (3) years general administrative experience.
• Detail-oriented and can maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others.
• Must possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Computer knowledge, word processing, problem solving, and organizational skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Distribution Center is large, open floor areas with loud machinery, with some areas requiring hearing protection due to elevated noise levels. Production/Warehouse areas are dusty.
• Workers may be exposed to elevated temperatures during the summer months; and some work may be required in cold environments during winter months.
• Workers are required to wear GMP compliant hair and beard nets, company-provided uniforms, and gloves to protect the product from possible contamination. Certain areas require respirators.
